Tesla looks to build Megapack plant in Shanghai

The US electrical vehicle manufacturer eyes China as base for new production site of scalable battery Megapack.

Tesla plans to open a battery factory in Shanghai to produce 10,000 Megapack units annually to supplement the production in California, the car maker informed in a brief tweet on Sunday.
