Maersk to produce 3 million tonnes of green methanol annually from 2030

APM Holding has established a new company with 60 employees to produce three million tons of green methanol annually from 2030. Top management has been appointed, as have the first locations.

To boost the production of green methanol, A.P. Moller Holding has established the company C2X, which will build, own and ultimately operate factories around the world with the goal of having a production of the sustainable fuel of three million tons per year by 2030.
