Shell's Danish biogas investment reports significant loss

2023 ended in a loss for Nature Energy to high biomass prices, the accounts show. A loss is also expected for 2024.

Recently published 2023 financial statements for the Nature Energy group probably made for tough reading for Shell, which acquired the firm for DKK 14bn (EUR 1.9bn) in November 2022. Nature Energy reported a loss on the bottom line of DKK 627m for 2023.
