Scatec Solar secures funds for three Malaysian projects

197 MW divided across three solar plants will be installed in Malaysia by Scatec Solar, which has secured financing for the projects.

It has been a busy, but profitable week for one of Scandinavia's largest developers of solar energy projects, Norway's Scatec Solar. Wednesday, the company announced it had gotten Statoil on board as a co-investor for several large projects in Brazil.
