Maersk Oil doubles result

Thanks to a stronger oil price and other positive factors, Maersk Oil saw its result roar ahead in this year's third quarter.

In the third quarter interim report, Maersk Oil is listed as a discontinuing activity in the group, but the division still shows solid progress.

Maersk Oil booked a third quarter profit of USD 259 million, relative to USD 119 million in the same period last year.
