
Partners behind the Tyra field have agreed to invest DKK 21 billion (EUR 2.8 billion) in the reconstruction and redevelopment of the offshore gas field.
This is the largest ever investment in the Danish part of the North Sea, write the partners in the Danish Underground Consortium (DUC) in a press release. The investment does not comes a big surprise, as reconstruction of Tyra was a condition in Total's acquisition of Maersk Oil.
