The Italian authorities are taking oil companies Shell and Eni to court in what could prove one of the largest corruption scandals in recent times, reports Finans.

Oil companies Shell and Eni have been accused of corruption in connection with the acquisition of an oil field off the coast of Nigeria and are now facing the Italian authorities in court, reports Finans.
