Blue Water wins logistics contract with Exxon in South America

Blue Water Shipping has won a five-year contract with Exxon at the company's large oil discovery in Guyana in South America. It is a strategically important step to get a good start here, says Thomas Bek, Global Director for Oil, Gas and Industrial Projects at Blue Water Shipping.

With its new contract with oil company Exxon, Danish Blue Water Shipping has entered the strategically important region of South America, where several of the world's large oil discoveries have been made over the last few years.

In a partnership with local company Ramps Logistics, Blue Water Shipping will deliver logistics services to phase one of the Liza field off the coast of Guyana in South America. The contract includes international transports from the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia to Guyana and Trinidad as well as handling customs documentation and local deliveries, Blue Water Shipping announces.
