Sweden's government approves contentious gas pipeline

The Swedish government has agreed to let Nord Stream 2 pass through the Swedish part of the Baltic Sea.

Sweden's government has given the go-ahead for gas pipeline Nord Stream 2 to pass through Sweden's economic zone in the Baltic Sea – despite the fact that the government is critical toward the project.
