Equinor to develop North Sea field Troll for billions

The Norwegian oil major and its partners in the Troll field in the North Sea will invest billions to extend the field's lifespan beyond 2050. Equinor also signs contracts with three suppliers.

Equinor, formerly Statoil, and its partners in the Troll field in the North Sea on Tuesday submitted further development plans to Norway's Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.
