Shell invests in North Sea gas field

Shell wants to develop the Arran field in the North Sea. The gas field, which is located in the British part of the North Sea only a few kilometers from Norwegian territorial waters, is expected to produce around 21,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The oil company is also taking over operations of the field, reports Shell, which does not disclose the economic scale of the investment.
