Oil company loses chance to appeal damages claims ruling in Danish court

Noreco will not be able to appeal the ruling in the claims case for damages to its Siri platform at the Danish High Court. However, this has not been a factor in the oil company's recent acquisition of Shell's share of DUC, says the CEO.

Norwegian oil company Noreco will not be able to appeal a lost claims case concerning damages to its oil platform Siri. The Danish Appeals Permission Board has refused to try the case in the Danish Supreme Court, according to Norwegian business media E24.
