US Supreme Court forces oil major to divulge climate research
The US Supreme court has rejected Exxon Mobil's appeal to maintain the confidentiality of its climate research. According to Attorney Generals and critics, these documents could provide evidence that the oil company has long known about the climatological effects of fossil fuels.
One of the world's largest oil companies is being forced to release a number of documents that will reveal what the outfit has known about the climatological effects of oil and gas consumption.
