Aker BP discovers oil in North Sea field

The Norwegian oil company has found oil and gas in the Froskelår prospect in the North Sea. Preliminary analyses indicate a gross find of between 45 and 153 million barrels of oil equivalents.

Oil company Aker BP has found oil and gas in the Froskelår prospectus at the Alvheim field in the North Sea, writes the company in a press release.
