Esvagt eyes potential in shorter contracts for service vessels

The Danish offshore carrier views a shorter service vessel contract with Vattenfall as a "pattern-breaker" and sees potential for similar deals in the future, writes an executive.

Normally, Danish offshore carrier Esvagt sends its service vessels out on longer contracts when carrying out tasks on, for example, offshore wind farms in the North Sea or the Baltic Sea, but the carrier is now eying the potential for entering shorter contracts for vessels.
