Shell finalizes exit from Danish North Sea

The Danish part of the North Sea has a new dominant player after the Danish Energy Agency's approved Noreco's billion-dollar acquisition of Shell's stake in the Danish Underground Consortium.

Noreco has received final approval from the Danish Energy Agency to take over Shell's ownership interest in the Danish Underground Consortium (DUC), in a deal worth USD 1.9 billion, the agency informs in a press release.
