Hess books new million-dollar deficit on North Sea field operation

The Danish division of oil and energy company Hess has lost USD 45.8 million in 2018, though this is less than in preceding years. The company has abandoned a sale of its Danish field.

The Danish division of oil and energy company Hess, which operates the company's part of the South Arne field in the North Sea, has lost USD 45.8 million on operating the Danish field in 2018, according to the annual report.
