Norwegian suppliers secure majority of Johan Sverdrup field

85 percent of contracts in the second phase of giant Norwegian oil field Johan Sverdrup have been awarded to Norwegian companies.

Norwegian suppliers' share of contracts in the giant oil field Johan Sverdrup, which has been described as Norway's largest-ever industry project, has now reached 85 percent. This happens after Equinor has awarded oil service company Subsea 7 the last so-called subsea contract in phase 2 of the Johan Sverdrup project, informs Equinor in a statement.
