Shell CEO says funding oil is completely legit

The British-Dutch fossil fuel supermajor's CEO, Ben van Beurden, says the world still needs investments in oil and gas.

While many activists oppose Shell's oil and gas activities and would have the company take a completely new direction, Chief Executive Ben van Beurden emphasizes that this will not take place, the CEO tells Reuters in an interview, adding that keeping money flowing into oil and gas is completely necessary.
