Seadrill books new big loss, chair resigns

The drilling company presents of new big third quarter deficit and Seadrill Chair John Fredriksen has decided to step down from the company and will be replaced from today.

The controlling owner of Seadrill, John Fredriksen, is resigning as chair of the drilling company, the rig operator informs in a press statement, while also presenting a third quarter interim report showing a triple-digit deficit figure in USD millions and a big bottom line loss.
