Russia and Ukraine pen new gas deal
The two neighbors have entered a five-year agreement on gas transmission to the European market. However, the countries continue to disagree on gas flow into the Ukrainian market.
Only a few days into the new year, Russia has signed new gas deals with Belarus, Armenia and Moldova, informs Russian state-owned gas giant Gazprom on its website.
