Dark clouds over Shell's 2019

The British-Dutch oil and gas supermajor ended the year with an adjusted net result that was practically halved compared to the preceding year – and quite a bit below analysts' projections, thus underlining in bold a big setback for the period.

Royal Dutch Shell's end-of-fourth quarter annual financial statement for 2019 shows negative results in all practically all key figures. The company has booked a retreat across the board, and earnings are down by half in just 12 months.
