Denmark's farewell to North Sea oil to be mapped

Many chapters have been written in the tale of Danish oil efforts in the North Sea since the Maersk Group was awarded the sole concession on oil and gas extraction in the country in 1975. Since then, around 3.8 billion barrels of oil equivalent have been extracted, more than DKK 400 billion (EUR 53.7 billion) have been deposited in the treasury, and new players have entered the stage.
