Norwegian shipowners want a global ban on fossil fuels in 30 years
From 2050, it should prohibited to sail on non-climate-neutral fuels, says the CEO of the Norwegian Shipowners' Association, Harald Solberg. "It's a long-term, plain and clear signal to the industry," he tells EnergyWatch's sister media, ShippingWatch.

30 years from now, it should be prohibited for ships worldwide to sail on fuels that are not climate-neutral, according to the Norwegian Shipowners' Association, which is going to work for a global ban in the International Maritime Organization, IMO.
