Total meets with key contractor to avoid layoffs

The future of 150 furloughed Total employees is at the center of meetings currently held between the oil company and its main contractor Muehlhan, says the company's managing director, who aims to limit the impact.

Total is currently attending meetings with one of its main contractors, which has had a large number of employees furloughed by the oil company ahead of schedule due to the corona crisis and the oil price drop.
