Tyra field scraps tease new Danish rig decommissioning market prospects

When the main rigs from Denmark's Tyra field arrive at the company MARS within a few days at the Port of Frederikshavn and recycling efforts begin, it will mark the first time an offshore fossil fuel rig is sent for scrapping in the Scandinavian country. "This is clearly a fine opening for us get get the next field," says MARS Chief Operating Officer Kim Thygesen.
