Norwegian oil giant Equinor has chosen an unexpected candidate as its new CEO: Anders Opedal, 52, specialist in methods for maximizing oil extraction.
Equinor's press officers were busy handling inquiries from visiting journalists when the Norwegian oil firm held its capital markets day on Feb. 6 in London.
