Gas Infrastructure Europe elects new president

The use of power and gas grids must be integrated to meet the EU's climate target, says Torben Brabo, newly elected president of the European industry organization for gas infrastructure.

On Nov. 3, an election was settled without any major fuss. The annual general meeting of European gas organization Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE) has now elected as president Danish transmission system operator Energinet's chief executive of Gas, Torben Brabo, for an initial period of two years, states GIE.
