Equinor unexpectedly ups Johan Sverdrup output

The giant field is set to produce around 500,000 barrels per day before year's end and exceed prior forecasts, the Norwegian oil firm says.

Equinor reports that the company is ready to increase production at the Johan Sverdrup field by around 30,000 barrels per day, so the field will produce just over 500,000 bpd prior to New Year's, the Norwegian oil firm writes in a press release.
