Fire erupts at yet another Equinor plant

Wednesday afternoon, fire broke out at a methanol plant operated by the Norwegian oil giant, marking Equinor's second blaze in only two months.

At 2:40 p.m. local time Wednesday, reports emerged that fire had erupted from a compressor house belonging Equinor's methanol plant at Tjeldbergodden, Norway, the oil company informs in a press release.
