Green execs flee Shell prior to strategy launch

Lackluster ambitions in the renewable energy transition prompt several executives to leave the oil firm, reports Financial Times. The offshore wind chief could be next in line.

In October, Shell snagged Thomas Brostrøm from Ørsted. In what seemed to be a career quantum leap, the utility's US head of offshore wind of recent years would be employed in a new position as senior VP of Global Renewable Solutions, encompassing both the solar and wind business of the oil company.
