Exxon sets new climate targets after investor criticism

Oil firm Exxon Mobil formulates new climate targets to accommodate investors while at the same time planning to publish data on the pollution caused by the group's products.

New winds are blowing few days after activist investors criticized oil supermajor Exxon Mobil's emissions. On Monday, however, the Texas-based group announced its plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 20 percent before 2025, and that this plan is in line with the Paris Climate Accord, reports Bloomberg News.
