Shell awards Norwegian contract to Aker Solutions

Norwegian oil service firm Aker Solutions will deliver a compression system to project Ormen Lange in a transaction worth more than EUR 56 million.

Aker solutions has signed a letter of intent with oil giant Shell. The Norwegian firm will deliver and integrate a compression system on the seabed that will connect to processing facility Nyhamna, according to a stock exchange notice.
