Equinor mulls hydrogen pipe for Euro export

The oil firm begins a study into the possibility of large-scale export of blue hydrogen from Norway.

A pipe worth billions of kroner and a hydrogen facility in Norway with ten times the capacity of Equinor's Tjeldbergodden facility, which produces around 900,000 tonnes of methanol a year, are at the core of a feasibility study now on the drawing board of the oil firm's head of low-carbon solutions, Steinar Eikaas.
