New gas major's CEO to focus on green ships and bottom line in coming years

New gas tanker major BW Epic Kosan will especially focus on the ships of the future and the bottom line, explains Charles Maltby, who will serve as CEO of the company. The green agenda will also put a damper on consolidation in the LPG sector, he expects.

New green vessels and a tight focus on the bottom line is high up Charles Maltby's agenda, when he assumes the role of chief executive of the new gas major BW Epic Kosan, which is the result of a merger between Lauritzen Kosan and Epic Gas, he says in an interview with EnergyWatch's sister media ShippingWatch.
