263 organizations – 122 of which are based in Africa – from 49 different countries have banded together to write an open letter, calling on relevant banks to drop the funding for the planned East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) with an estimated value between USD 3.5-4bn, reports sector media Upstream Online as the first to cover the story.
