Solstad CEO embarks on large-scale fleet clean-up

Norwegian offshore company Solstad Offshore has begun a major process to clean up its fleet, which will see 37 vessels being divested. Three have already been sold and more sales are expected soon, says CEO.

The chief executive of large Norwegian family-owned shipping company Solstad Offshore, Lars Peder Solstad, has embarked on a massive task to implement the company's rescue plan, which involves a major clean-up of the fleet.
