Safety authority finds serious breaches at Equinor plant after fire

After investigating the fire at Equinor's LNG facility on island Melkøya, the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has identified several serious breaches.

After natural gas liquefaction plant Hammerfest LNG on Norwegian island Melkøya caught fire in late September, the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has been investigating Equinor's facility to determine whether all procedures have been followed.
