Oil prices surge Wednesday morning CEST upon announcement of a drop in US stockpiles, underpinning the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries' expectation of increased demand. It's also the sixth day of the temporary shutdown of the largest US oil pipeline following a hacker attack.
