Equinor sells refinery in Denmark

The Norwegian oil giant has struck a deal with Klesch Group to sell its refinery in Kalundborg, Eastern Denmark.

A new deal sends Equinor's Danish refining business and terminal into the hands of Swiss company Klesch Group.

The transaction covers Equinor Refining Denmark A/S, which besides the refinery in Kalundborg, Eastern Denmark, and its terminal consists of a terminal in Hedehusene near Copenhagen and accompanying infrastructure.
