TotalEnergies to monitor methane emissions via satellite

One of the oil industry's worst climate culprits is methane leaking during extraction. In an attempt to keep the potent greenhouse gas below ground, TotalEnergies and GHG Sat start development of a new satellite-monitoring system for the French group's offshore operations, TotalEnergies informs in a press release.
