Aker's Røkke negotiates oil fields with Ghana's national oil company

The largest stakes in two oil fields off the coast of West Africa could soon be on the hands of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation. Norwegian investor Kjell Inge Røkke is moving to sell most of his interest.

Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) receives the green light from the country's parliament to spend USD 1.1bn on buying the majority of two oil fields off the coast of West Africa.
