Prosafe following new court defeat: Restructuring continues unaffected

Prosafe is set to repay almost NOK 500 billion to a shipyard after the Norwegian Supreme Court rejected the floatel company's appeal in compensation case. This will have no influence on the strained company's restructuring, CEO Jesper K. Andresen tells ShippingWatch.

Norwegian Prosafe, which rents out hotel rigs to the offshore industry and is in the midst of an extensive restructuring, is ordered to pay around NOK 465 million to shipyard Westcon.
