Aker Carbon Capture strikes British CCUS deal

Alongside UK firm Viridor, Norway's Aker Carbon Capture is to work on bringing down emissions at five waste-to-energy plants in Britain.

With ambitions to become the first zero-emission waste manager by 2040, British company Viridor has formed a collaboration with Norwegian venture Aker Carbon Capture, which will produce a carbon capture, utilization and sequestration (CCUS) facility at five of Viridor's waste-to-energy plants, according to a statement by Aker Carbon Capture.
