Equinor funnels billion into further development of Oseberg field

The operator and its partners at Oseberg plan to increase the gas production and to partially electrify the field.

In the fall, Equinor was green-lit to produce an additional 2 billion cubic meters of gas at the Oseberg field – an approval that concurred with gas prices reaching a record level.
