When oil and gas firm Vår Energi goes public in Norway – on Feb. 16 according to plan – the company will reach a value around NOK 70-79bn (EUR 7-7.9bn), writes E24 after learning new details regarding the listing.
According to E24, this would make Vår Energi the 11th largest company on the Oslo stock exchange by market value.
The company is owned by Italian oil giant Eni and Norwegian investment company Hitecvision. The owners announced in October that Vår Energi was being primed for a listing.
When the upcoming merger between Aker BP and Lundin Energy falls into place, Vår Energi will be the third largest oil company on the Norwegian continental shelf.
