Semco Maritime to hire more than 200 staff for oil business

Two big operations in the Danish North Sea prompt a ”sudden need” for new personnel at the offshore service operator, which hopes to keep recruitment local.

Rumors of the Danish oil industry’s demise are strongly exaggerated. The latest example of this comes this week from Semco Maritime, which means to hire more than 200 personnel for operations in the North Sea – partly for work to reestablish natural gas field Tyra as well as to staff carbon storage project Greensand.
