Maersk Drilling bags USD 17m contract in British North Sea

Drilling rig firm Maersk Drilling has secured work for jack-up rig Maersk Resolve for a five-month period starting April this year.

The rig is going to work in the British North Sea, drilling for 150 days on behalf of an undisclosed customer, reads a statement.

The contract is worth USD 16.9m.

Maersk Resolve is ready to set out from the Port of Esbjerg, Denmark, after having carried out its latest contract in January – also in the British North Sea.
