The government of Libya and its national oil company have reached an agreement with protesters in the nation, paving a way for a reopening of oil fields and export terminals, writes Bloomberg News.

This enables the country to put a stop to a blockade and once again ramp up production, possibly resulting doubling output to approximately 1.2 million barrels of oil per day.
