Maersk Drilling wins Solsort job

The drilling company has secured four drilling tasks worth USD 34m – two at Denmark’s next oil and gas field, Solsort.

Ineos has hired Maersk Drilling and its rig, Maersk Resolve, to drill two wells in connection with the Solsort field development, Denmark’s next fossil fuel field, the first approved since 2017, scheduled operational by late next year, the drilling company confirms in a statement Friday morning.
